"MEMORIES of the FUTURE" Series

        Memories of the Future is an on-going series of oil paintings on canvas currently numbering 15. They represent the artist's compulsion to fully explore a subject. The 15 are based on the artist's miniature wax and pigment paintings, a series unto themselves. Memories of the Future depicts brilliantly colored fanciful and figmentary land, sky and waterscapes. They all bear Louis's signature painted frame, "… so they can't fly away to the dream world from which they came," she says.
