"OLIVE TREE" Series

White stone walls surround the city of Ostuni, Italy, a gem of venerable architecture, on the Adriatic Sea,. Olive groves in the bordering area, like the city itself, contain many trees that are hundreds of years old. An inspirational symbol of longevity, peace and prosperity the olive tree is also one of the most beautiful trees in nature. With age they twist and spiral themselves into fantastic sculptured shapes that challenge the imagination.

The images in this Olive Tree Series are all from my mind's eye, but were inspired by fond memories of strolling in the olive groves of Ostuni.
